By adding our print solution to their existing accounts, our care home customers can not only benefit from already established relationships with our team, but we are also familiar with the individual environmental goals of the homes. We can quickly start to reduce their carbon footprint of site to meet those goals, whilst also improving their productivity and efficiency.”

About the Printers

The Epsom Printers range from the smaller C529R A4 Desktop printer, C5879R A3 multifunction, 26 pages per minute, to the C20100 A3, 100 ppm. They have also introduced the AMC Series, the C4000, a 4-1 multifunctional device, printing 40 pages per minute, both mono/colour, with a 6-second speed first-page printout.

High-Speed Printing with Less Power Consumption

Epson Heat-Free technology requires no heat to warm up when switched on or awoken from sleep. It means printing starts immediately compared to laser printers, saving time.

Epson Heat-Free Technology uses less power than laser technology because it does not use heat to warm up. As inkjets have no fuser unit to heat, this results in significantly less energy consumption. Also, printer operating time and electricity consumption can be optimised because there will be no delays caused by accumulated heat in the printhead.

Fewer Replacement Parts

Laser printers have more consumables and require periodic drum replacements, transfer belts and fusers in many cases. Thanks to Heat-Free Technology, inkjet printers use fewer parts that need replacing, and the printheads are not consumable. It reduces the environmental burden of manufacturing and recycling the additional resources.

Less Intervention

The Heat-Free structure of Epson inkjet printers means fewer parts can fail, which reduces the amount of intervention required. The Heat Free ink ejection process means no heat damage to the printheads, so they last longer. As a result, Epson inkjet printers offer improved reliability and significantly reduced downtime.
