Care home technology experts GHM Care, have developed and launched a new reporting tool that delivers insight from existing nursecall systems across multiple care homes.
Nexus Cloud integrates with all major nursecall systems, regardless of their age or manufacturer. As well as delivering nurse call alerts directly to smart phones, it unlocks valuable management information such as number of calls, average speed of response, busiest periods, types of calls and resident activity. Nexus also provides evidence to support a care homes’ CQC rating.
Care home groups can view the management information at regional, home or zone level and compare nurse call stats between sites.
Traditionally care homes and groups use paper-based reporting on a very basic level for their nursecall activity.
Simon Hayler, Director of GHM Care says: “Nexus Cloud unlocks a whole new level of insight into how well a care group or home responds to their residents, where they may be able to add or streamline provision around busier times, which members of staff perform exceptionally, along with the severity of calls at specific locations or times of day.
“The care home groups already using Nexus Cloud are able to operate more efficiently, improve their response times and reward their staff accordingly.”
Nexus Cloud has already been adopted by care home groups Hamberley Care Homes, Oakland Care and Jupiter Care.
